The Social Climber (2006)
Made-for-television feature starring Jennifer Love Hewitt as Katya Livingston, a self-obsessed advertising executive who refuses to let anything or anyone stand in the way of her climbing the San Francisco social ladder. But when Katya starts being investigated by the tax inspectors, she is forced to start keeping a financial diary, and begins to note down details of her shallow acquaintances in a bid to find out exactly who her real friends are.
