Biography

Moheen Reeyad was born on March 26, 1990, in Chittagong, Bangladesh. He is an author, poet, editor, publisher, and short filmmaker. He was considered intelligent, despite poor grades at school. Together with friends, Moheen planned a move into film, and in 2010 sank his savings into making an experimental philosophical film. After this year, he has made his directing debut by the film Cycle (2011), while he was 21. He is a published author, and works as a freelancer. Since 2009, by editing two issues of a little magazine, he has been involved with a new philosophical movement begun as Drishtantoism. He is also an open content enthusiast, ans has been affiliated with the Wikimedia movement and involved to the Wikimedia Foundation's local chapter Wikimedia Bangladesh.
